YOU JUST NEED: ⠀
2 1/4 whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Mixed seeds (optional)
1 1/4 plant based milk (almond, oat, soy or any of your choice) ⠀
STEPS:
Mix all ingredients except the milk in a mixing bowl
Give a nice stir until completely combined
Add the milk and integrate everything until a dough is formed (the dough should be sticky so don’t panic and do not add extra flour)
Transfer the dough to a flat floured surface and sprinkle some flour on top, give it a quick knead until your dough has a uniform consistency (it will still be sticky)
Shape into a round disc of about 1.5 inches thick (this will keep this particular bread from being mushy in the middle)
Place on a parchment paper line baking sheet or dish
Score with an axe
Bake for about 35 minutes at 375°f (190°c) until brown ⠀
