Did you know that Medjool Dates are a fresh fruit? They are actually harvested from the date palm, cleaned, sorted and packaged right away. There’s no processing and they’re never physically or chemically dried.
These goodies are a healthier option than refined sugars.. they contain natural sugar but they have a low/medium glycemic index score because they contain a good amount of fiber. They’re also low in fat and packed with nutrients like potassium, copper, magnesium, vitamin B6, niacin, calcium, iron and vitamin K.⠀
Today we bring you this quick and easy 4-ingredient dates caramel recipe, perfect as a dip or topping for healthy treats like the vegan snickers that are coming.
It’s vegan and gluten free and the best replacement so far for our usual “Dulce de leche” or milk caramel. ⠀
Just try it and then tell us we are sure you will become a big fan as we did! ⠀
