MOCHA DALGONA COFFEE

If you like Starbucks Frappuccino, you will love this easy recipe. It’s sweet, delicious, so simple, and absolutely photogenic! ⠀



Dalgona Coffee has become really popular during quarantine days. The soft and velvety texture of this coffee becomes even more delicious with a chocolaty glow up! ⠀


You will absolutely LOVE this chocolate whipped coffee, which can be served over iced milk, over steamed milk, or over ice cream. SO GOOD.


INGREDIENTS (FOR 2 SMALL GLASSES)


FOR THE CHOCOLATE DRINK:

200ml of dairy-free milk (we used almond)

2 tablespoons of cocoa powder

2 teaspoons of maple syrup (sub any sweetener)

A large handful of ice 🧊 ⠀


FOR THE COFFEE WHIP:

2 tablespoons of coffee granules coffee

2 tablespoons of granulated sugar

2 tablespoons of warm water ⠀


STEPS:


TO MAKE THE COFFEE WHIP:

Place all ingredients In a bowl

Whisk vigorously for around 5-8 minutes until thick and creamy, then set aside. ⠀


TO MAKE THE ICED CHOCOLATE DRINK:

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and combined.

Pour the chocolate drink into glasses.

Spoon the coffee cream on top.

We served them with a drizzle of melted chocolate and a dusting of cocoa powder.

Enjoy fresh and chilled!

2 medium-size frozen banana

1/2 cup of frozen pineapple (optional)

1/2 cup of frozen mango

1/2 cup of coconut milk or any of your choice coconut ⠀


INSTRUCTIONS:


Process all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until super smooth.

Spoon into your bowl

Decorate with your choice of toppings and enjoy! We used granola (recipe #granolabee), fresh banana and shredded coconut. ⠀
