Recipes don’t get much simpler than this but honestly these frozen bites are one of our favourite NO BAKE desserts to make and they’re the perfect after-dinner treat when you’re craving a little chocolate which is almost always (okay, always).⠀

You only need 3 INGREDIENTS – chocolate, @byronbaypeanutbutter and bananas – to make these delicious healthy treats which is by the way the best combination of ingredients ever⠀

They are healthy, super easy to make and always a hit with everyone!


3 medium or large bananas, slightly ripe (not too soft) ⠀

1/4 cup natural @byronbaypeanutbutter

1/3 cup dark chocolate chips ⠀

1 tsp. coconut oil ⠀


Place parchment paper on a large baking sheet or platter. ⠀

Peel bananas and slice into 1 cm thick rounds.⠀

Spread peanut butter on a slice of banana, then top with another slice. each to create a "sandwich." ⠀

Place banana "sandwiches" on the baking sheet or tray and put in the until solid (for about 1 hour).⠀

Meanwhile in a small bowl, melt dark chocolate with coconut oil using a double boiler or in the microwave stopping every 10 seconds to stir until smooth. ⠀

Once bananas are frozen solid, remove them from the freezer and working quickly, hold each banana sandwich and dip half of it in the bowl of melted chocolate. Place back on baking sheet or tray and return to freezer until chocolate has set. Enjoy! ⠀

You can store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.⠀
