These healthy treats are nut-free, gluten-free, grain-free, oil-free, dairy-free and vegan. ⠀
INGREDIENTS (recipe por 16 macaroons): ⠀
2 very ripe bananas
1¼ cupsDesiccated coconut
100g dark/vegan chocolate (or any that you have at home) ⠀
Peel and mash the very ripe bananas.
Mix in the coconut with the mashed bananas, its easier to do you it with your hands.
Spoon a heaped tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball then flatten.
Bake at 350F / 180C for about 15 mins until they start to go golden.
Leave to cool while melting the chocolate over a water bath
Dip into the chocolate then place on a baking paper to cool.
Store in the fridge and enjoy within 3 days.
You can also store in the freezer for up to 3 months and defrost at room temperature ⠀
